Alpha and Omega College aims to cater for our students’ needs by offering them high quality curricular, while at the same time looking after their welfare. We are able to do this with our strong and dedicated team working together for our mutual advancement.

At Alpha Omega College, we strive to provide excellent education, valued around the globe. As our name suggests we are the beginning and the end to diverse education. We provide a variety of options to choose from in education, to develop and nurture your skills in the field you aspire. At our institute, we encourage ambition and provide opportunities to fulfil them. Alpha and Omega College is about more than just studying for your course. We want you to enjoy your time in Cardiff as well as improving your education. Many of our students socialise with each other outside of the school and relax during the day in one of our student rooms, playing pool or watching television.

Our Social program allows students to see all parts of Cardiff with trips to the beach, historical places such as castles and museums or just the attractive local parks. These trips also allow you to use your English outside of the classroom setting.

Our college has a computer room, a students' room with a pool/snooker table, a library to help you improve your English outside of class, or increase your knowledge if you are on a vocational course. We also have a coffee machine for free drinks.

All our classrooms are equipped with everything needed to help your studies. We have whiteboards, CD players, laptops and projectors which our teachers use to help our students progress through their course.

All of our classes have a maximum group size of 15, but we find that a normal class has no more than 10 students. We have a large building which allows us to offer different classes sizes and gives us a lot of flexibility in how we teach our range of subjects.

Students may select full-time, part-time as well as specially designed courses to suit individual needs (such as one-to-one classes or women only classes). They can choose from a variety of programmes, from General English, English for Specific Purposes and IELTS to Cambridge and TOEFL exam preparation. We have now been accredited by Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) to run CELTA courses (Certificate in Teaching English to Adults). Those interested in taking the TOEFL iBT exam, which is widely recognised all over the world, can do so in our centre. Alpha and Omega is the only TOEFL iBT-accredited exam centre in Wales.
