This programme is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of Supervisory Development. No prior knowledge is required.

• 2: Effective Time Management
• 3: The Recruitment and Selection of Staff
• 4: Supervising the Section or Department
• 5: Effective Communication
• 6: Basic Finance for the Supervisor
• 7: Analysing Training Needs for Staff
• 8: Personal Development

DURATION

Students may study over any timescale of up to one year. To complete the course will take in the region of 60 -70 hours of study.

ASSESSMENT

This course is assessed through a series of tutor marked assignments. No attendance at an exams centre is required.

ACCREDITATION

The course leads to the award of the Certificate in Supervisory Development (Level 2) from OCNW, a leading UK awarding body recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.

SUPPORT

Support comes from the teachers in the centre. Support will be given from the teachers for the period the student is enrolled, all our teachers are very helpful and will help a student deal with any enquiry they might have.
